Hi gurus, pls advise what all file/s i should save for future in case my system gets reformatted as fortunately my office 2010 retail is legally activated (don't know why but thru online activation ). Secondly, because adventurous nature I put trial key and because of that system shows one yet be activated edition. Pls suggest how to delete same.
For your first question you could just use the toolkit that is out. For your second question it makes no sence can you make it note clear?
Pls tell me about the toolkit name or download location. I was trying many keys, out of them one was for trial edition and it created two activation options. One got fully activated online and second one is not getting activated and is there. No point keeping that as I have legally activated edition so looking for command to delete that.

@flare4000 & MasterDisaster I installed and activated online ( Retail version ). I also back up 2 files: cache.dat & tokens.dat. I want to make a Auto-activating CD with these 2 files in case of re-installing in the future. What command lines should I write ? and where can I put 2 backup files & command lines ? Dude, you need to also backup the registry for this as well. Tokens.dat and cache.dat is not enough. Look at CODYQX4's toolkit. It also backs up the OSPPSVC part of the registry.
These three files are required and will activate Office 2010 when re-installed on the same computer that the files were saved from. Tried and proven. (1) cache.dat (2) tokens.dat (3) pkeyconfig-office = XrML Digital License
We do not need pkeyconfig-office.xrm-ms. It does not change after activating. We need 2 files: cache.dat and tokens.dat . I did... It activates offline and works perfectly.
Calpo dats probably because u r uninstalling and installing but when harddisk is reformatted u need registry.
