Chrome OS is intended for netbooks without a hdd, so, of course, you won't have benefit of it on your regular pc. Also, it is meant for people only using cload services (gmail, youtube, google docs etc.)
network not connected as suggested i m using vmware and have selected the bridged network but still when enter my login details it shows network not connected and offline login failed...plz help me with this
I'm sorry! I meant to say VirtualBox - stupid of me. Yes, I ran it under VirtualBox as shown in that example. I followed the installation instructions and got it working using NAT. Connected to gmail, calendar, etc. Just slow and not pretty. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium on this computer and can't install Virtual PC. Sorry for the confusion.
NAT is the only way I got connecting in VirtualBox. As for the OS I can see the concept of it being very nice, but it is not something I would want to rely on and use daily. It does seem very speedy for me in VB though.

First Know that It Is an operating system that only consists of a web browser and can only run web apps. It is of no use without a net-connect.. You Might hav thought that is like the windows....
