OKay! So I've found few information on how to find GRLDR file on the computer, which is usually located in the C:\ (at least, in vista)

Here is the info i've collected so far, with the help of Hazar and this thread:
    1) Grldr normally has the "hidden" and "system" attributes, so you needa enable show 'hidden system files' in explorer

mk, that was easy, still can't find it.

    2) Grldr may be stored on a boot partition, you can mount it with diskmgmt.msc by assigning a letter to the "System Reserved" partition

mk, that partition doesn't seem to exist on my comp?!, still can't find the damn grldr file.

Running a search won't give results.
Plus, i did realize, exploring my C: drive with Acronis Disk Director, that Windows is hiding files even if i chose to display hidden files in the folder options... for example, i can see the MSOCache folder in windows explorer but can't see autoexec.bat...

So my guess is the windows search command can't find the file cuz it can't see it for some dumb reason... tried to manually find it with Acronis, couldn't.

    Any clues?

    b-r-a-v-o i shall say.

    You sir, are definitively right.

I have found the file previously on my friggin' QUEST but discarded it thinking it was related to my XP install on that partition...

So today's lesson: Boot is issued from the System partition which isn't necessary your OS partition :p

Kudos for pointing that out Mr Jinje

    and shame on me... :D
