Hey guys.. I probably didnt read or search enough or perhaps ive gone blind hehe..

But I'd like to know how i can find out wether a biosupdate has slic 2.1 or not. I mean the downloaded zipped package from manufacturers websites.

I dont feel like flashing the bios if the laptop works good but if it has slic 2.1 maybe i can do it anyway:)..

Reason Im asking is beacuse i see my gf's laptop has some updates for windows 7 and one is an biosupdate and i want her to change to windows 7 hehe..

So how do i do that??

Open the Bios in the Appropriate (AMI, Award or Phoenix) SLIC tool and if it has SLIC 2.1 already in the BIOS a popup window will tell you that.
