Find your Windows 7 drivers easily

    I have a Dell Studio 1555. I did as stated on the first post. After detection, i was presented with three updates Intel Chipset Device Software (drivers 9.1.1.1019 WHQL), Intel Turbo Memory Driver (drivers 1.10.0.1012 WHQL) and Intel Matrix Storage Manager ICH7/ICH8/ICH9/ICH10/PCH (drivers 8.9.0.1023 WHQL)

    Should i go ahead and install them? Will any proprietary Dell c**p act and render my laptop invalid?

    Edit: Used Everest and found out the details of the motherboard. Out of the three, only two are valid for the motherboard.

    It shouldn't. Anyway with laptops, it's not sure that all drivers found will install, because sometimes laptops have OEM modified chipset, it's the case with some Intel chipset.
    It was my case with my Fujitsu Laptop, where the chipset driver wouldn't install and told me it's incompatible and stopped the install without modifying anything.

    Nothing was reported to be updated on my machine. So I guess i have everything updated

    are vista 32bit drivers compatible for win 7 32bit? I have an adsl model (D-link dsl200) which has drivers for vista 32bit. Will it work on win 7?

    Vista drivers should work for windows 7.

    Some Vista drivers works, some not. Especially printer drivers.
    Some Vista compatible graphics adapters are incompatible for Windows 7.

    yes but driver genius missed most of the latest updates of my driver recently.

    Sound HDMI not Work in WIN7
