While I am in Europe, I want to get an spare notebook. this one is reasonably cheap without an OS.

    Acer Aspire ES1-511-C50C Notebook

But I am told Acer does no longer provide the drivers for this to install Win 7, and I do not want Win 8.

Probably others might have had that same problem before, and there is a thread or a website where it is possible to download all the drivers?

    Anyone knows?

    Thank you

(I am asking, because the other threads touching this question, are more confusing than helpfu)l

Install the Windows 7 and use the device management 'hardware ID' to identify the compatible drivers for the system and download them online.

Use DriversPack or find constructor name for each peripheral and download the drivers from the official website

I remember trying that with my HP Notebook a few years ago....
I need to install some of the drivers to be able to go online...
