Hi all. Wow its been a while since i was last on here. Any way, my girlfriend has given me her laptop as she hardly uses it. She has an iPad. Is there a way i can find out what the product code is for the Windows 8.1, so i can possibly obtain a windows 8.1 disc, then do a fresh/clean installation? There is no sticker on the bottom of the laptop. The OS is genuine. Thanks for any help thrown my way. OSG.
Oh its as easy as that? So this will simply clear all programs, settings etc and give me like a fresh start as if i just bought the laptop? And am i being a bit thick by thinking that the Product ID that is being displayed in the This pc>properties is the key i would need to use if i did install form a disc? ** I used DAZ as you said, and i found the 25 character key so im guessing that it lol ** I forgot to mention the laptop has no cd/dvd drive lol.
