I have three computers that either was activated by RemoveWAT or DAZ Loader. Is there any way to tell what method was used? on another note, I cannot get either Daz Loader or RemoveWAT to fix a windows 7 install on MS Virtual 2007. Anyone else heard of this? Thanks for any help provided
Run in admin CMD: Code: sfc /scannow the hacktivated one by RemoveWAT should get deactivated, if it repairs the tampered files even partially. If it fails completely you can be also sure. NOTE: RemoveWAT is useless broken crap. Better delete it and never ever use again. The Loader thread is full of complaints about broken activations.
that will deactivate it correct? I am not wanting to do that just figure out what was used. What is the best way to activate now that does not involve BIOs mods?
ok Thank you I will try to figure out this Torrent Stuff (yes i am an old man) I have a copy of 2.2.1 but have not been able to find a clean 2.2.2 The mirrors in your sig apparently had a password on the zip file
For virtual pc 2007, you would need a really old version of daz loader, perhaps from the 1.6 or 1.7 series.
I still have searchengines patcher for virtual 2007 not on my desktop at the moment but from what I remember think only HP and Dell slic2.1 are available.
Make sure it is the real thing, not some malware loaded imposter. I have a few of these old versions, but it would take me a day or so to get them dug up.
oldest I have is 1.9.2 if you want to try it, can UL it. I'd wager that the 1.8 version posted by EFA11 would activate a Virtual PC 2007 guest properly. At some point with later loader versions, adding HYPER-V support started to cause troubles with virtual pc. Of course, running the guest under either vmware player or virtualbox would be a better choice anyhow.
It wasn't ever fixed because Virtual PC 2007 support was dropped by Microsoft. Also both VMware Player and VirtualBox perform a lot better than VPC, so we've always recommended people to use either of them instead.
