Does anyone has problem with lag in Firefox in Win 10? I face serious lag even with FF40. I upgraded from Win 8.1 to Win 10 pro. Didn't perform a clean install.

Never liked that ugly browser, (Opera user since the beginning, then Vivaldi user, here).

But I tested FF41 yesterday and likely is the fastest FF ever, fast and responsive.

If you have a Nvidia card, Mozilla blacklisted the latest driver which is why its lagging. Not much you can do atm, other than wait for Nvidia to update their drivers.

If you don't have a Nvidia card, I don't know why its lagging for you.

I am using Firefox 40 + Nvidia 353.62 and no lag at all under Win10 Pro x64.

Edit: No lags with 355.60 WHQL too.

AMD card here. So the problem must not be only nvidia driver.

Firefox is flying for me, take a look at the extensions you are running.

I like the 64-bit DE of Firefox...pretty snappy. No lag.

I also have an AMD card (HD 7850). Firefox runs just fine; no lag.

    My config:

    Windows 10 Pro "clean install" + Catalyst 15.200.1046.2 + Firefox ESR 38.2.0
