Anyone else having problems with Explorer dying periodically? Sometimes I go a day and it doesn't happen, other times it will happen several times in a day. It seems to depend on what I'm doing and the state the system is in. If I'm pushing it pretty hard soon after boot-up it's very likely to happen. If I right-click on a desktop icon soon after boot-up it will almost always happen. It seems that this behavior started about a month or so after I installed Windows 7, so the fault is probably mine. Something (or things) I installed are causing conflicts with the OS. I'm going to do a clean install after the 1st of the new year and I'll be more discriminating about what I install next time around. By the way, the fixes above didn't solve the problem for me.
