Compaq presario SR2030NX with a Asus A8M2N-LA motherboard. I requested a slic2.1 bios, was pointed to one from an HP system with the same board. I flashed the bios and after reboot I got no display but could hear the system booting into windows. I installed a PCI-Express graphics card and got nothing... tried a PCI graphics card and I got display. reset bios to default, change init primary display to onboard and restarted the pc. Removed PCI video card, system boots but I don't get a display until the system loads into Windows 7. Thoughts, Suggestions, weather in your area.
