I'm trying to modify an ASUS P8H61-M LE/CSM I've read the instructions in the "How to Use New Phoenix Bios Mod Tool to Modify Phoenix/Dell/Insyde/EFI Bios Files" and attempted to follow the directions but I keep screwing up my BIOS. Here's what I have been doing step-by-step and it's not working. What am I missing? Downloaded newest BIOS from ASUS website. Ran Phoenix SLIC Mod v1.42 opened Original BIOS in the tool. Selected ASUS for Manufacturer Selected ASUS SLIC File from SLIC database Loaded RW File that was saved from my ASUS P8H61-M LE/CSM Verified certificate matched loaded SLIC Changed method from SSV2 to Dynamic Clicked Go and got the following error: “No complete SLIC table found. Continue?” I clicked “yes” and it says: “SLIC performed successfully. BIOS file is U:\BIOS Tools\working\P8H61-M-LE-ASUS-CSM-0403_SLIC.ROM” That does not work – after loading the modified BIOS – the computer will not boot with that BIOS chip until it’s re-flashed.
do you know why it is that when I add the SLP1.0 string it does not show up in SLIC toolkit after flashing?
