    Hey everyone,

I've got a Raspberry Pi 3 that I'm using to flash some BIOS files using flashrom and so far it has been working well.

Today I've encountered something a bit odd. The computer is an old HP m9385a. I downloaded the latest bios file for HPs website, extracted using 7zip and inside there was the bios file called "nap5.27". I assumed this was the rom/bin file and flashed it before making a backup of the original (stupid mistake). I put the bios chip back in the computer and it turns on however nothing comes up on the screen.

So my question is; Is nap5.27 the rom file or is it encapsulated?

Can anyone confirm if this file below is the bios file intended to be flashed?

the roms you download sre sometimes incomplete by design as it updates only parts no whole chip.

find a bios dump and flash it then use SLP marker tool to change serial n model info with NBDMiFit
