Flashing Studio 1537 A09 with SLIC 2.1

    Hello frnds,

    I tried flashing "Studio 1537 A09" modified rom. Version got update from A08 to A09 but SLIC table still shows ver 2.0 when checked in RW tool. ANy reasons...please let me know

    If somebody were success in activating windows 7 on Dell 1537 laptops please help me

    stanbeck,

    One thing i observed is there are some version of windows in the wild which says preactivated. I checked one such installation of vista; this version loads(uses grub loader) the SLIC before windows and are able cheat windows. I think we can try one such version of windows 7 if bios mod is not working. Another reason for using this preactivated version is all those windows 7 loader won;t work in my 1537 system so i have to go for preactivated one.

    i'm trying to get windows 7 activated on my dell 1537 with A09 Bios version
    any link to a working modded Bios in the forum
    i did search but can't fine any help

    I have tested "1537 SLIC 2.1 v5 - 2.rar ( h t t p : / / megaupload.com/?d=XQU5KBFP )" Bios Update with my Dell Studio 1537 Notebook, and I can confirm: it works fine!
