How do you define this sentence? Food is Medicine and Medicine is Food! - Stay away from Doctors! Some tips to live your life healthy. Food: Pray before eating the food. Eat only when you are hungry otherwise don't. Please try to add the following 6 important tastes in the food (remember it is only for taste, it doesn't mean that you have to eat it). Sweet = Fruit, grains, natural sugars, milk Sour = Sour fruits, yogurt, fermented foods Salty = Natural salts, sea vegetables Bitter = Dark leafy greens, herbs and spices Pungent = Chili peppers, garlic, herbs and spices Astringent = Legumes, raw fruits and vegetables, herbs When eating food make sure that you chew it completely with the help of your Saliva, until you feel no taste in the food and then swallow it. Please chew the food by closing your mouth never open and chew because the air will block the contact between food and saliva. Remember not to open the mouth with the food inside. If possible please eat the food by closing your eyes so that it will help you concentrate on the food and it help digestion too. Drink water only before 30 mts of your meal and after 30 mts. Not in between. For example if you are going to have your meal around 1.00 pm. Drink water around 12:30 pm. After that you can drink around 2:00 p.m. So totally 1 hour and 30 mts. Don't drink water while eating your food. Because it may neutralize the Acid contents from your stomach, so the food you eat won't get digested properly and you won't get Glucose/Insulin from your pancreas. (If you want to drink water due to thirsty, you can just wet your throat by drinking a small amount of water (with a bottle cap or spoon). Just make sure the water shouldn't go to your stomach and neutralize. After taking bath eat only after 45 mts and If you eat take bath only after 2 1/2 hours. Before eating, wash your face, hands and legs with cold water. It will help your inner organs to get ready for the digestion. While eating food please don't watch television. Because it will distract your digestive system. Never talk while eating. Don't hang your legs down while eating, either sit down in a "padmasana pose" or if you happen to eat on the dining table, please make sure your keep your legs up, so that you are in a sitting pose. Don't read books, newspapers, etc., If you had first burp you can stop eating. If necessary, or if you are going to have your next meal bit too late, then you can have little bit. But your stomach is telling you that it's finished digestion. It is always a good practice to stop eating food in the first Burp. If you follow the above steps, the water will work as a medicine in your body not as a poison. Sleep: Never sleep by keeping your head towards North. Never drink Tea / Coffee. Doing so you will not be able to sleep. Never sleep in a empty ground, sleep on Bed or Bed-sheet. Please understand the difference between rest and sleep. Hard (physical) workers would require more sleep than the Soft (mind) workers, please don't compare yourself with each other. Lie down 8 hours and leave the sleeping duration and worries to your body. It will decide and take what it needs. Brush your teeth when you go to bed (mostly in the night). To get a good sleep, rub your chin and back of head slightly. Air: Please don't use Mosquito mats, killers, liquids etc.., Make sure wherever you go and wherever you live there is enough air flow. An option to bring in the good air and to exit the bad air is good enough. Keep your A/C (Air Conditioner) in 37* degree temperature. Fire: Do an exercise where you are moving all parts of your body. It can be anything like Yoga, Warmup, Waling etc., In order to have your fire energy active and run, your only option is to work hard. so please work hard and be active. Everyday morning, brush your teeth or wash with salt water. And then within your home walk for around 5 minutes by creating a "8" shape. It will help to have your bowel movement good.
