    So I got a hp the MB is Foxconn MCP73M01H1 (Napa)

    When I mod the bios it tells me that there is an existing 2.0 hp table. I hit allow and proceed to a successful insertion of 2.1 hp.. but when I flash it tells me there is no slic found when I use the tookit to check it. I have tried everything and am Lost. here is soem screen shots as well as the original and modded bios. let me know what I am doing wrong. Thanks in advance. Ken

    UPDATE: Flashed with dos and same result

    is the 2.0 vista slic that is encluded with the bios a fake to prevent modding? if so how would I remove the current slic to add another? Shouldnt the tools automatically do this? Any help I am trying to refesh my memory in all of this

    opening the modded bios again reveals it did take the 2.1 hp slic?? I am ripping my hair out with this one

    Seems like a different model. Also I found the tool on an old hard drive so I will share link here too for the cert and key installer by medic :) http://www.sendspace.com/file/yewp40

    I only seen one board for the model I posted working as well and its the latest for that model, Using it on a different model is bad idea

    fixed.
    extract to DOS bootable USB.
    autoexec.bat should flash it auto.

    I did what you said here but didn't follow later steps in other thread :eek: : http://forums.mydigitallife.net/thr...K-(-30-error-Problem-opening-file-for-reading-)

    The result is :cold::
    1- I saw some (quick appeared then hidden) lines that said at beginning :
    bad .......
    bad .......
    bad .......

    2- Screen shutdown and gone black

    3- CPU fan keep restarting (running then after a while shutdown)

    I can't boot up my PC again.
