Free activation after upgrade W7 with slic in bios????

    As i was reading here on forum i have questions...

    SLIC 2.1 is in bios...

    1. If i do the upgrade will 10 activate?
    2. If i do clean install after that will it activate?
    3. I did not get update via windows update (yet) can i download iso and do the first upgrade?

    1. Yes, it's what I did. SLIC 2.1 in BIOS on its own will not give you an activated Windows 7, but I suppose you know that already.

    Straight from the source. Run the x64 tool, select x64 Pro version and then select the option to save the ISO file.

    Will check this out later today. Actually, my BIOS activated Win 7 Ultimate won't offer me an upgrade from the Tray app... It says "we notify you once the Win 10 upgrade is available for your PC".

    Anyone else has this?

    That just means it has not downloaded yet onto your machine. It downloads to $Windows.~BT folder on C:\ once that has completed then you can upgrade .
