How much data is on your drive ? Are you trying to upgrade ?

Upgrading keeps your old windows files in a folder called windows.old. So, if the windows directory of your existing setup plus your data files are large this may be what is preventing an upgrade.

I would back up my data, format C:\ and clean install - if this doesn't work perhaps you have a hard disk problem.
