Guys, Just got notification of the latest tweet from G. Aul with a link to their latest blog post, in which it is said that Insiders will have their Windows 10 active even after final release and they can even reinstall using ISO as long as they login with same account which is linked to Insider Preview program as it is going to continue even after release. Good news no?
WELL NO, cause your gonna be able to disable preview "mode" and he dint mention that windows would deactivate Of course, we’ll provide you an option to leave the program and stay on the final build if you choose: but we hope that we’ll continue to provide you great reasons to remain a Windows Insider.
Okay, let's clear this up... This means, IF you get the final build WHILE you have Insider Preview (Home or Pro) installed, THEN you are eligible for a free Windows 10 final license, given you use the same computer and same MS Account. This does not apply to Enterprise release users.
Think you are getting mixed up free upgrade offer is only available for 1 year. If you do not download and activate within that year you will then need to buy it.
Lol. Please no assumptions and wild conclusions. The upgrade will be free when got and activated within one year and lasts until the end of lifetime of the device. KMS re-requests are done sporadicly to extent the activation period, how could it 'slow' the OS? What slows it down are fragmentation and a huge unclean registry, but not on SSD. ANd why do you guys talk about 'cracks' when it's a free upgrade?!
KMS dosn't slow the OS anymore than the fake keys activation or any other retail activation. And upgrade probably slows down the OS even further, than a clean install if you want to discuss something.
There were no wild conclusions in my post, only extraction of statements that were a bit fuzzy or some to understand. Apparently even written in clean and pure basic english, people either refuse to read, or just don't understand it...
This also bring up the question. Do they offer this free RTM version to all builds they have built, or only to the ones they have sent out via Windows Update (ie the last build of 10130)?
