freebsd with i3wm feel like home. only need what you are doing... loader.conf. sysctl.conf pf.conf rc.conf and whole home. UFS work fast and if you really need somthing more has ZFS but is no applicable for any scenerio
yay thanks CK for the heads up maybe I can install on my old machine Pentium 4 with 2GB RAM lol; I hope that no drivers problems on it
I just realized that you can boot from ZFS via UEFI, which is nice. Via bsdinstall you can now partition the root-partition directly from ZFS systems which are booted from UEFI.
