i have installed office 2013 professional plus SP1 with all latest updates installed ok and this stupid one drive skydrive i have Prevent the usage of SkyDrive for file storage. enabled
i dont use this stupid skydrive/one drive hmm so how deleted this second skydrive from comp ? or from all office ?
I also have this problem. I have Office 2013 Professional Plus with SP1 installed, but I have OneDrive disabled via Group Policy (Prevent the usage of OneDrive for file storage). I have also noticed, that if I re-enable OneDrive, then the icons are not a problem any more, but there must be another solution for those who want to keep OneDrive disabled.
i untick this one drive for business from installation when i install office i install only word excel and pp.
i am not sure I am buying this theory of Onedrive messing with icons as I have installed MS office 2013 pro plus including SP1 and all updates known to man , and I dont have any freezing issues.
just remembered , in this particular instance, I installed newest win 8.1 update 1 iso, so it wont have skydrive I believe so i take my comment back.
The problem may be in your hardware (HD,ram, etc). But if hardware is in conditions try to reinstall your SO this will solve your problem.
doubt it, as i have seen some strange friggin issues updating some units that I came across. from what i have seen 99% update was jacked, doesn't mean that no updates have gone smoothly. one unit was showing DRIVE not accessible after update, troubleshooted the hell out of it, but no go , had to reinstall, issue was remedied to immediately. Anyway happy computing
May be true. But if the system has errors when the update is installed errors appear. I don't believe M$ not test and performed an upgrade on a clean system with update1 to check this issue!
