Did you try right clicking the Taskbar > Properties > Jump List > Checked "Store and display recently opened items in Jump Lists" , with the "Numbers of recent items to display in Jump List" higher then 0? If ir doesn't work, then I'd System Restore.
It didn't work. I made new installation and the problem remain. Am I need to delete the reserved place (about 350MB) in windows 8.1 installation ? Maybe this problem from previous installation remain ? By the way, the frequent in jump list works, but it doesn't comfortable for me.
