Fresh Install New SSD Would You Update OS

    Hi can someone help me please.

    I am using Win 10 Ent LTSC Build 10.0.17763

    I am just about to install a new ssd and wondered if you would update the OS

    Is the new ssd to replace a HD? If so, I used Macrium Reflect to clone the HD to ssd.

    Do you mean upgrade to a newer (non ltsc) build, or just update with updates?

    Ltsc are compatible with ssd and nvme

    nvme = ssd, ssd is not always nvme. And this has nothing to do with the subject of this thread nor is it informative.

    ssd = with sata connector
    ssd = with ide connector
    ssd = nvme connector or msata

    And very expensive ssd pci express

    Ssd with sata are compatible with any windows 10 build , ssd nvme are compatible ( generic driver ) from build 1809 and later
