On my old laptop (which is not my main computer), I still use 22H2, build 22623.1095. , using an i3.3230 cpu
I have used bloatynosy software to remove loads of bloatware from it, and it is reasonably usable.

Is it possible to update to 24h2?
    Does it make sense?

Which forum link should I look up?

    Thank you

    Yes, with fixes applied.
Not really, nice hardware to run 2019/2021 LTSC on.
That is old insider preview OS.

Very old cpu better stay on ltsc 2021 + convert to iot ltsc after install with massgrave

For ltsc 2024 i5 from 2016 or i3 from 2017 to have descend performance

It has performed well enough for a few years now. Anyway, my main computer is this desktop using Win 7.
And I do not use my computers where "performace" is of importance, I use for MY needs... but that would be a long discussion... :)

I got that from a trusted freinds many years ago, when MS did not allow installation of 11 on anything other than their definition... Always works just fine...

Am I REALLY missing something when I do not update?
I clean it up using bloatynosy.

Please keep in mind if you want run i3 (unsupported CPU, No TPM 2.0 and etc) from scratch, I suggest need 16gb ram would be good enough run Windows 11 IoT LSTC 2024 clean install, should be just fine.. I play with it..
