Im new here, and i will really appreciate if someone could help me This is the first time im trying to reinstall windows, the reason it's because my system is kind of slow after 3 or 4 years withouth a reinstallation, and because i think im infected with some malware and spyware. My problem is that i lost the original DVD of windows to reinstall, and i was looking for it, but i found this site. After a few reads, i have seen that i could go from Vista to 7, but i don't want to screw my pc because im new in this, so i come here asking: ¿What's the first thing to do before starting with this process of gettin a new version of Windows? I have Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit SP2 ¿Should i reinstall Windows vista or get Windows 7? Hope you can help me.
If you don't care about licensing, go with Windows 7 and use the Daz Loader (you'll find both here @MDL). Clean-install is always better than Upgrade.

OK, i will try a reinstall of vista and see if works well. other thing is: ¿Are this links safe from spyware? from the link you gave me... aff i cant post links and ¿Should i be able to use a USB to reinstall my OS?
