cant work out how you get the.rom file out of the .bup file opening the bup file with hex editor shows the .rom file inside , i just cant get it out!
Thank you so much for your work, BUSYKID. ^_^ I am installing windows 7, and will report at soonest time. ^_^
Dear SUPERKID, Thank you for modding the BIOS file. The new BIOS flashed smoothly, but now i face a new trouble: Whatever xrm-ms file i put in, it will continuously reject my SLP key. I've found around 4 different fujitsu .xrm-ms files (including from you) but none worked. And i tried with 2 of the SLP keys from the vista forum here, one from Fujitsu, one from Fujitsu Siemens. Now my Vista Premium has only 15 days to activate T_T, wonder if there is any other way to get out of this, instead of reformat and re install Vista, for i love it? Will try to install Win 7 tonight, i am collecting almost all drivers for the 64 bits version.
I've played around with Everest, and see that when iinstall the original BIOS, the SLIC will be shown in the folder of Motherboard>ACPI> When i install your modded BIOS, there is no SLIC, but there is another item called OEMS, which same size and Address with SLIC. Hope it reveal something to you> Thanks.
