As the title says, ALT-TAB is not working when I am playing online games (Crossfire -develop by SmileGate/Neowiz) and Steam-DOTA2. I just experience it when I upgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1. Is there a workaround on this? I don't want to go back to Windows 7 or 8 :(

    Thanks in advance.

I usually use ALT+ESC for exiting full screen.

some games may not support full screen in win 8.1 as the archetecture of windows is changed, you may use virtual os to play them by installing win 7 or xp.

I don't know if Crossfire 100% works, but Dota 2 should.
    What is not working?
You press Alt+Tab and nothing happens?
You press Alt+Tab and game crashes?
    Already tried reinstalling graphics driver?
Also, what are your pc specs?

ALT+TAB doesn't show my desktop, it can't exit the game, I have to quit the game, but in Game Menu, AT+TAB is working.
    No the game doesn't crash.
Tried with on-board GPU (Intel HD3000) and discrete (GTX 660), the same problem.
    PC Specs: Win8.1 update 1, ASUS P8Z68-V, Core i7 2600K, 16GB G.Skill DDR, Intel SSD RAID-0

Does Alt+tab works if you use Fullscreen (Windowed)?
Also have you tried reinstalling the graphics driver (nvidia)?

Yeah, fullscreen windowed mode works. Nvidia driver I'm using is v340.52 and yes I already tried older Nvidia drivers.

Anyways, I'm done with it. I think I will go back to Windows 8 or better yet Windows 7.

Ohh before I forgot, I'm currently using Windows 8.1 U1 Enterprise x64, do you think it's because of this?
