Just curious, but can you try a ISO Windows 10 21h2 and see if Microsoft is including that driver for 11 Intel Generation?

If you aren't using RAID you can put the machine in AHCI mode and it will work. Otherwise, just add the F6 Intel RAID Controller drivers from the OEM site to the Win10 flash drive you are booting from. Also, there is a March 2021 Win10 image out now. Did you try that? I will be doing this with a new Dell Laptop i will receive soon....

They did not. I do not expect the included drivers to change until 21H2.

    1. I always first check the original support pages
    2. it contains a nice tutorial on how to get the ssd to show up during setup at boot.

So, a Lenovo page then, right? Still circling back to my question about Asus coming up twice in this thread. For example an Asus BIOS came up in a thread about a Lenovo product, that happened after your Asus link.

My main issue with links to vendor sites is their tendency to go down or change. I can't tell you how many times I have clicked a link in a help forum to a vendors site only to get redirected to a generic "your page is gone" landing page.

The directions are of course correct but a generic guide to someplace like station drivers would be more likely to capture searches and result in a live link.

You are going to be in for another interesting surprise. I always take the stock install, update all the drivers and then export them using dism /online /export-driver /destination:'path goes here'. I integrate these drivers alongside the most recent updates into a fresh install image. Usually you get 30 or maybe 70 packages exported in extreme cases but today I go 160 exported packages. These gen 11 laptops really do have a lot a lot new hardware and new hardware revisions.

Its been hit or miss for me. 1 Gen 11 system installed without issue. The other could not see the drives from the installer and the BIOS has no controller options at all. The above steps will help people that run into problems.

@Enthousiast thanks for putting that together.
