Use this thread to discuss about games that work/don't work on Windows 8. Currently, Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus both work on Windows 8 but it's recommended you play them on a dedicated graphics card. My intel HD graphics in my Novatech laptop doesn't like Abe's Exoddus but it plays Abe's Oddysee but the FMV's are really slow. I do have a copy of Sims 3 so when I get time I'll install it on Windows 8 and see how it performs.
Vessel, Trine 2, Tribes Ascend Open Beta, Team Fortress 2... all of them work with ATI. To be honest, i dont think this thread is neccecary at all. Haven't had any difficulties with the beta, heck im even using Windows 7 drivers on several items.
BF3, Starcraft, Rage, Borderlands, Metro 2033, Crysis 2, Alan Wake all fine on Nvidia GTX 560 with default drivers
call of duty black ops(all updates), grand theft auto 4(all updates till 1.0.7.0), mafia II(4th update installed), grand theft auto san andreas, I installed v296.17 drivers from geforce.com, not the ones with windows and got performance improvements with a geforce 550ti and saw with aida64 you get just cuda with microsoft's driver, with their driver you get opencl, opengl 4.2 and directcompute too. Installed realtek's driver for the realtek alc892 onboard card instead of leaving standard ones.
