    Hey guys

I'm just going to fill you in to exactly what has brought me hear and hopefully someone can help.

I noticed that my fan on my CX2620 will only start at 60 C which, I find is way too high. So I contacted Gateway and asked how I can change that. They basically told me to get more fans and pay for Tech Support, even though my fans WORK just it needs to turn on at a lower temperature. (Say 40-45).

After logging into the Bois, I noticed it was limited compared to other motherboards that I have used before. I also noticed that alot of BOIS for Gatway had to be "unlocked" as so normal user's can change these settings.

My motherboard is not "unlocked" as far as I can gather,so I went ahead and garbed the Phoenix BIOS Editor.. Which I'm completely lost in since I've got no clue what I'm doing..and bricking my laptop is really not something I'd like to do.

    Can anyone help me out?
