Hi all, I have Gateway FX4710 desktop. It has Phoenix-Award Bios. After searching this forum and not being able to find already modified SLIC2.1 for this model, I decided to make one. I got all tools except Gateway SLIC and Certificate file. After reading thru some posts, it looks like Gateway uses Acer SLIC2.1. Now I have a couple questions and I'd be glad if someone can answer them. 1. Where can I find Acer SLIC2.1 and Certificate? 2. If I use Acer SLIC2.1, does the Certificate have to be from Acer too? If it can be from Gateway, where can I find it? Your help is very much appreciated.
Hi NoJuan99, Thank you very much for your reply. I checked the link you sent me, but I don't see Gateway there. Would you suggest which SLIC2.1 and Certificate will work the best for Gateway. Thanks
