no that wont work i already tried that i bricked the system with that before. now it says id error i need this bios Manufacturer: Gateway -Motherboard Model: GT5676 -Bios revision: 7B3G1P04, 2/18/08
gateway is a mess they better fin there support or ppl will stop buying from them. i could problably flash it with that bios but i know it wont work because i have done so in the past. oh well im give up at list windows 7 is activated anyways.
oh and by the way busykid told me that once a bios has ben modified cannot be modified again you have to start again from a clean bios. and that a problem for gt5676 because there is no way to get that bios. unles someone has this pc and could dump the bios.
yea i just loked at it no bios for that neither. you should dump the original bios so you could allways have a copy. i failed at doing so .
