hi i just tried to flash the same graphic card bios i used to have.... with nibitor where i just changed device and vendor id ( used to write 9800m gt instead 9800m gts and unknown for nvidia) . next time i got black screen with 3 beeps !!! i dont have usb floppy,just stick and external hdd. computer is gateway 7805u . can any1 help me with some really good and simple solution! did clear cmos and still the same! i dont think usb device boot was set in bios before, allready tried with bootable usb and blind write nvflash..... also tried to make image file with winimage and wasnt bootable after. only change i got is with wincrisdisk + fn+ esc+ power.... where i got couple of beeps more and computer restarts after i press any key (gave him like 10 min before that)
go to gateway site and read up on the post codes for your MB (the beeps). My guess is 3 beeps means bad or No video card available, Since you just flash the video BIOS before the problem started. Either insert a new video card or re-flash the existing one with a working BIOS.
