Generic 8.1 pro key won't allow install.

    You can't activate with that key, it is ONLY for the INSTALL

    is it only me who needs a waterproof keyboard every year when a os comes out. My coffee was very close to be poured over like last year :rofl6:

    Alright makes sense, then what key should I use when activating? Do I need to wipe and use an enterprise install to bypass?

    Sorry for newbie questions i've read through all the FAQ and have not seen this directly addressed. If i want to do kms activation later on how do I finish install and get to desktop to do so :).

    Tried all of the GVLK keys none worked. Ended up using old w8 key *J8CK4 and that worked to install, not sure why but whatever works so I can get to desktop :). Thanks for the quick replies everyone.
