I have activated a WIndows 8.1 Upgrade with KMS Spico process of resetting every six month and running the tool again. Now I have access to OEM Keys from ebay for cheap $5 and I would give them a try. I will uninstall the current windows 8.1 key (using cmd) and would use the new key to activate the license. All I need to know is that whether the KMS Spico has done some modifications to the windows that would not allow a genuine key to work during the activation process or not. Thanks!
Those keys probably are stolen or illegally sold to you, i would rather stick with KMS activation, no-one gets money out of that.
COuld you please help me in answering the question? I am selling the laptop and I don't want to sell with a partially activated license. Since it would be an OEM license and there are fewer chances it would be voided when in use.
Does the laptop have either a slic for 7 or an oem : dm (embedded bioskey) for 8.x/10? You can check it with the MRP Query Tool.
Only thing left after uninstalling KMSpico will be the still activated Volume License. Windows Licensing perse is determined by the key entered. If you install the new key system will switch to OEM licensing and will demand activation for the new license.
