Genuine key

    I have genuine home premium key that came with my laptop, in future when I integrate sp1 into windows 7 installation is that key going to be valid or 7 sp1 requires different key.

    That key will still be valid, unless is it a retail or MAK key with all activations used up. you say it came with your laptop, so it probably is a OEM:SLP or OEM-NONSLP/OEM:COA key

    Thank You FreeStyler is there a way to onlock somehow win7 ultimate image to give you option for home premium?

    You might not have to reinstall to get ultimate. If you bought your laptop with Windows 7, and it has SLIC 2.1 all you have to do is do windows anytime update and enter an ultimate OEM:SLP key.

    Back up your oem key and certificate, when you reinstall install the cert and use the same serial
