so i don't want to integrate anything that isn't needed.

You seem to forget that most updates set the 'pending' flag which makes it impossible to cleanup the image :g:.

    Yep, murphy is best :good3:.

Also worth a check, updated refresh ESD versions seem to arrive: http://forums.mydigitallife.net/thr...ository/page15?p=962264&viewfull=1#post962264.

Check the guide Tito mentioned or wait for new builds.

    I think Diolo meant,

"I've got a windows iso with all updates upto last month allready integrated and he wants to know if there is a way to use that windows iso as source for a new iso so he only has to download and integrate the new updates replacing the older maybe superseeded updates to keep the image as small as possible. He thinks there is a dism commando like /cleanup which would cleanup the image so that only the needed updates are kept in the image."

    Is this possible or not?

Equal if you add all or only last month updates you might get a problem:

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

In that case only solution would be install in Audit Mode, Sysprep/Generalize and a re-capture.

Okay, then we have to keep doing what we always do, start each month with a clean 8.1.update1 iso and download all updates to integrate them.

For 7 is the simplix method maybe a faster way to do it.

    Thanks to slave77.

You can still use one ISO and update it each month. As said only the cleanup is tricky/bitchy sometimes.

Simplix pack checks for already installed updates and only installs the missing ones :good3:.
