GetdataBack in Windows 7 doesn't detect SATA HDD

This is my second question I referred to.....

I use GetDataback to restore deleted files in emergency situations. I have version 3.6 and portable 4.0, but when I execute any of them in Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits, it detects the IDE/PATA disk I have in my computer but it doesn't detect the SATA drive I also have, which by the way is the most important being the system partition and my personal data partition.

I tried to do the same booting to Windows 7 "native", without DAZ loader (for the case BIOS emulation had influence on it), same result.

Then, I booted a "mini Windows XP" from Hiren's bootCD, and executed the portable version from a USB pendrive. It works!!!, it detects both phisical drives, the PATA and the SATA one. So, it is not a motherboard BIOS problem.

Both versions of GetDataBack are supposed to support and be supported by Windows 7.

Does anyone have any different (or similar) experience ?

    Thanks
