I had a motherboard failure and had to replace it. I subsequently found that the hard drive was partially damaged, and I replaced it as well. My Windows XP had serious problems with the new motherboard, so I reininstalled Windows XP over the original SP 2 and installed SP 1, SP 2, and Windows Media Player 11 (WMP 11 was an accident). Now I can't get protected music to play. I was referred to Digital Music Converter from aniusoft, but it fails to convert DRM-protected files, probably because it can convert only what can be played. Fortunately, I do have backups of the hard drive from before the motherboard failure. I also have the protected music on an SD card, and it still plays on my Windows Mobile 5 PDA OK. How can I get out of this mess and get the music to play under Windows XP again?
    Thank you.
