Well any of the W series will do...come on someone out there must have one W451U W251U W552U W466U W468N W566U/N W536M
i have gig mobo with asus slic at present, sp1 failed and reverts to non-genuine, would using the gigabyte cert mentioned in this post sort out this problem or do i need to remod my bios?
Yes have a SLIC just no cert.....looking for someone with a ga cert to see if it fixes the sleep issues on SP1 and vista unregistering after sleep
oh I had already posted the slp marker etc in either the start of this thread I think...you can of course contruct the slic yourself from that as well. The notebooks have markers and pub key with pheonix bios.
its manually built using slpmarker and pubkey... may not solve anyones sleep issues unless you can find a cert
should have explained manual since you may have a different idea....its contsructed by using a hex editor....and the APCI 3.0 specifications for the offsets along with marker and key.
No real difference on what SLPFIX created at all with what I posted. Just note that it appears that SLPFIX assumes a default creator id which of course changes the checksum of the slic. Other than that no difference at all. Of course you wouldn't expect that there should be as the SLIC is just header+pubkey+marker and you can almost make this with a dos copy /b command
Is this only for Phoenix BIOSes? Because the cbrom utility give the error "CAUTION: GIGABYTE.BIN file is not BIOS ROM" when I tried to mod a Gigabyte Award BIOS.
