Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3 Rev 2.0-Slic 1.0 and 2.1?

    Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3 Rev 2.0-SLP 1.0 and SLIC 2.1?

    Is it possible to add both a 1.0 slp and 2.1 slic to the bios for XP, Vista and Win 7 on a Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3 Rev 2.0 ? I looked at the Award Bios tool but it looks like it only does one or the other. Thanks in advance!

    Slic 2.1 will look after all of the OS

    So just by adding a lets say a "HP 2.1 Slic" to the bios it will take care of XP? I thought the 2.1 only took care of Vista and Win 7.

    You need to add HP.BIN for SLIC 2.1 for Windows 7 (this also works for Vista) and HP.txt for SLP (or whatever OEM you prefer) for XP.
    Read the guide in the link I provided and it tells you what to do.
