    1. Using 7-Zip (http://www.7-zip.org/), extract the H61MDS22.F7 and Efiflash.exe files from http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/BIOS/mb_bios_ga-h61m-ds2_v2.x_f7.exe
    2. Use AndyP's AwardTool (http://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/5385/)to add SLIC 2.1 to the H61MDS22.F7 file
    3. Using Rufus (http://rufus.akeo.ie/), format a USB thumb drive with FAT32 and FreeDOS
    4. Copy the H61MDS22_SLIC.F7 and Efiflash.exe files to this USB thumb drive
    5. Boot from this thumb drive. At the DOS prompt, type:
      Code:
      Efiflash.exe H61MDS22_SLIC.F7

    Good luck!

I think at step 4 I should rename it without _SLIC.

As its EFI, you need to use this, not Award Tool.

    You're correct, my mistake!

I fixed it in my post above.

Thanks Tito and drewb95 for your help.

It seems that Tito disagree with Award Tool.

    What is your new suggestion?

I saw someone report that using the Award tool worked, but Tito knows his stuff, so I don't know.

It is UEFI and modifying should be possible with the Phoenix Tool. I just did the mod for testing, it should work without any advanced tweaks.

Basically Award Tool fails to open the bios as its an EFI.

Just mod it using Phoenix tool, Module method.

    Hi
Sorry for late in respond, I just finished some exams.

When I try to follow steps on how to mod by Phoenix tool at this link , I stopped at steps
    SLIC File:
    SLP File:
    RW File:

Do I leave them blanked or what?
