Definately, in my eyes . Tried avast and found it constantly arresting files in background, if they look suspicious. I like to be informed and get a choice what´s to do next, without jumping through hoops to set this option manually. AVG does this by default.
At present I'm using eset nod32 smart security. Its very light and I think a good AV with firewall that automatically disabled the windows firewall. Its comparison with AVG - only an expert can tell.
...AVG disables the firewall likewise; in case you install Internet Security not Antivirus, the latter is without Firewall function . Did it here without problems, acts like normal full version, it´s like a 374 day Trial (instead of 30) and as every good Trial it´s fully functional, as far as i can see.
