Enable Windows 7's Hidden "God Mode" "God Mode" simply provides users with a centralized Control Panel for all of Windows' settings, from changing your desktop background to setting up a VPN or partitioning your hard drive. In all, there are nearly 50 categories and most have several entries. 1. Create a new folder. Say on your Desktop. 2. Rename the folder to: God Mode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} *Note: The "God Mode" chunk can be called anything you want. 3. The default folder icon will change to a Control Panel icon, and you can open it to view all of the settings. makes for quick access to all settings plus some etc
Unknown atm but I am sure what ever is new in 8/8.1 will be there. Because we want to name it God Mode? Do not like it, make your folder this: "All Tasks.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}"
True, I always name it All Tasks, and if you make the folder in the drive's root dir, new windows installations would leave it alone and not put it in windows.old.
It'll work in all future versions of Windows. And God Mode is not any official name from Microsoft. Its just a name given by bloggers.
Because they want to show their extensive knowledge etc. which not exist in reality! Who had such knowledge would never show off!
