ROFL, I would not let them repair my computer. Everyone knows, that uninstalling AV, before the upgrade, is mandatory, and they have just found out?! By the Avast is known to casue BSOD and other issues ever since it joined its forced with AVG, so no surprise there. It is junk now.
Thnx for that info. Didn't know they acquired AVG (just confirmed it via quick Google search). I already gave up on Avast years ago and recommend all my clients to remove it ASAP. Windows Defender does a better job and is less intrusive in my opinion.
Avast finished with all the viruses on the planed, it started blocking batch files as threats 0/0 would recommend
