    Hi all.

I have read many article about ubuntu and its advantages of using it. So, I've decided to try using it next week. Any advice for new beginner like me?

I'm using windows 7 right now and has 3 different partitions, c (60GB), d (200GB) and e (200GB). How can I make dual boot with windows 7? Do I need to create a new partition specially for ubuntu 9.10 only?

And more, do I need to install drivers for my hardware?

    Hope all can suggest me.

go read the ubuntu forums regarding your laptop/pc make/model and the hardware it contains.

they keep it pretty updated with the procedures for getting stuff to work IF it doesn't work out of the box.
