got a 6700k 1080 system for my cousin, would 10 LTSC or 11 make sense?

I'm a bit conflicted about which OS to install, I know that IoT 10 has support till 2032? But apparently overtime some programs will be exclusive to 11 only so I'm not really sure, any help would be appreciated!

Just install whatever you want and test drive it, i would not put 11 on it as long as i can install 10 (ltsc).

On all my systems old and new i run 2016 LTSB x86 (very old e2120), 2021 LTSC on my old i7 3770 and i7 4770k and next week even my i7 11700 will run 2021 LTSC too (for as long as it is sufficient to offline service all win releases).

Suggest use DUAL boot: Windows 10 Pro (whatever editions you like..) and 2nd boot is Windows 11 pro (whatever editions you like..).. then you can compare what you like... :)

Don't bother with 11 unless there's an app, functionality, or feature that you really need now. Nobody knows how long M$ will support updating unsupported hardware on W11. IMHO LTSC 1809 is the easiest option if you tweak your system (e.g., remove edge, defender, and/or onedrive); settings behave after updates - not necessarily the case with LTSC 21H2 - and definitely not the case with 11.
