Got update KB 2885699 on win 8 pro (VL)

    Hi,

    Just to share this with you I got an hour ago an update from MS KB 2885699 from windows update on win 8 pro (VL),

    now they updated this KB :

    Article ID: 2885699 - Last Review: October 22, 2013 - Revision: 1.0

    Applies to


    • Windows 8
    • Windows 8 Pro
    • Windows 8 Enterprise
    • Windows RT



    does it mean win 8 pro VL will get the free update on the windows store ? I tried to do that but nothing so far ...

    anyone else tried this ?

    This update is only available for Windows 8 not 8.1 :confused:

    Your not going to get the notification in Windows Store. You have to download the ISO and run it from within Windows 8.

    so why are we getting this update on win 8 pro VL ?
