Okay so I am having problem installing Nvidia geforce 210 graphics driver on my desktop. I don't know why. I formatted my PC and re-installed windows 10 because my computer was getting stuck at windows boot logo screen. It booted in safe mode without any issue but not in normal mode. I also tried reinstall Windows 7 and the graphics installed with no problem but it's not installing in windows 10. Help me.
I confirm the GT210 works on win10 with an old driver downloaded from winpupdate or microsoft catalog.
Old driver? Which version? I don't remember exactly but I think I had the same issue when I first installed windows 10 version 1607, though it got fixed when I downloaded the drivers through Windows update. But I am not getting any driver updates through Windows update after upgrading to version 1709.
@ Amateur_Linux User,, As you need to use Real mode. DO NOT USE safe mode. will not work.. First update everything on Windows 10 [1709] then, Extract the lastest version 342.01 as i gave you link. then manual force the Nviida driver on 342.01 instead using installer. What I believe is try re-install Windows 10 fresh then drivers then rest is Application.
Sorry for late reply, I tried what you asked but it didn't work. I guess, I will just go back to Windows 7. Maybe it's problem with Graphics card and I had to buy a new PC anyway. Just one question though, I did not understand what you meant by manual force the Nvidia driver on 342.01? How do I manual force?
