Hi, I have a VM of macOS Sierra Beta on VMware Player and Windows 10 Host. I'm trying to install Final Cut Pro but I get an error that I need "Graphics Hardware Acceleration" to run it. How do I do that? Is it in VMware settings or do I need to edit anything? Please reply. Thanks

Hi, me again. I tried clicking the "Accelerate 3D Graphics" box. It shows "it is not supported in this guest OS." I can't find anything on this topic on the web. Does anyone know how to enable Hardware Acceleration? Thanks in advance!

You usually need ESXi to have GPU passthrough to guest VMs unfortunately.

I don't think Vmware supports accelerated Hardware.

The programmers who created Final Cut may have a physical hardware check routine in their code.

I checked from Vmware forum, the problem seems to be that Apple doesn't open the APIs so that Vmware can provide a solution.
